Net Author's E2K: April 2004

Welcome to the April 2004 issue of Net Author's E2K!

If you missed the previous announcement, we've gone to a quarterly format, and we hope you'll like the new, heftier feel to the journal. We're re-printing our publisher's editorial from the last issue, just in case you missed it the first time around and need a hasty update.

Remember that while we've changed structure, and poetry submissions are still paused for the moment until we clear our backlog, we are still accepting fiction, writing-related nonfiction, and creative nonfiction, so don't hesitate to submit. Given our staff limitations and format change, however, return time may be a bit longer than usual.

In this issue, you'll find the return of familiar faces such as Bunny Goodjohn, Kay Sexton, and Robert Scholes, but we suspect you'll be equally pleased by the appearance of a few new poetry voices as well. Nancy Julien Kopp delivers up her thoughts for writers trying to avoid some of the pitfalls associated with the craft, and Julia Brown and Magdalena Ball return with their usual columns. It's an eclectic collection of writing we offer this issue, and one we hope you enjoy as much as we have.

Editor's Note: If you're an AOL user and are considering submitting material to us, please be sure to read the note for AOL users at the bottom of the Submission Guide.
